So rare is Belleek's Blarney pattern that in both of Richard Degenhardt's books on Belleek the only images of it are the reproductions of the images that appear in the 1904 Belleek catalog. In Marion Langham's wonderful reference, Belleek Irish Porcelain, a single cup is illustrated.

Extremely difficult to come by these days, Belleek's Blarney pattern was designed by Frederic Slater (who redesigned the Lace and Limpet patterns [eliminating the feet and simplifying the designs]). As no first period examples have appeared in collections, Blarney appears to have debuted some time during the second period (1891-1926), and was removed from production some time before the advent of the third period (1926).

A green-tinted Blarney demitasse cup and saucer set was reissued by Belleek for the members of the Belleek Collectors' Society in 1986.
